FROM THE DEVELOPER
'
Remember how, 16 years ago, our family transformed a 19th century Provencal ruin into a contemporary guest house with three rooms? Two years later, we added a part to bring the total to seven rooms, while the restaurant became an area hot-spot
After all these years of running our beloved Toile Blanche, the time has come to take the next step forward and propel our hotel into the future by merging our passions - art and hospitality - we feel that the present guest house needed to be reinvented.
Therefore, we plan to transform the existing structure into a small luxury boutique hotel, built around art, savoir-vivre and encounters.
Luminaries from Picasso to Christo, Yves Montand to Roger Moore, Jacques Prévert to James Baldwin, The Rolling Stones to Mika all adore, or have adored, the mythical village of Saint-Paul de Vence.
Far from being pretentious, Saint-Paul de Vence incorporates discrete luxury.
THE VISION
We believe that true hospitality is found in the creation of strong relationships with each other, our guests and our com-munity.
We do this by recognizing that hospitality is not only about services, architecture, products and design – rather, it is about people and passions.
We believe that exquisite service, vast private spaces and a strong ethos of sustainability are just initial building blocks to create an exceptional hotel. However, the real luxury goes one step further.
We believe that through bespoke lifestyle journeys cherishing our three passions - art, savoir-vivre and encounters - we can stimulate the personal improvement of each of our guests, being it mentally or physically.
Toile Blanche is a place where people rediscover the luxury of living.
HOTEL CULTURE
Passing through the doors of Toile Blanche is like being carried away in a luxurious, but intimate, Five-Star dream. You instantly feel you’ll be treated with tenderness. Here, you are welcomed as a special friend. Everything, from guest experience to staff circulation, has been meticulous-ly considered. Knowing the facilities and guests’ needs better than anyone, Leroy Brothers have contemplated all aspects of the hotel when designing their plans. No less than the perfect balance between functionality, layout and aesthetics has been pursued.
Two main levels separate the property into two distinct zones. At the top of the hill is the social area, baptised ‘AMIC’ (Old Nice for ‘friend’), where you will find the pool, bar, restaurant, art studio, etc. Down the hill is the quiet quarter, dubbed ‘REPAU’ (Old Nice for ‘rest’). The suites are situated here. Once past this level, nature’s silence reigns.
You can own a bit of this one-of-a-kind holiday destination, as a limited number of suite apartments are avail-able for sale.

SUITE TYPES
Large and uncluttered, furnished in a contemporary but warm style, the suites are elegant and refined. They have been designed to be fully enjoyed during high and low seasons. The suites are sanctuaries where you feel as much on holiday as at home.
All bathrooms have large walk-in showers and bath tubs. Every suite enjoys a sizeable terrace, while some even boast private plunge pools.
MATERIALS
Tones are soft and warm. The decorative objects and original artwork reflect a par-ticular luxury. Mingling perfectly with the spacious outdoor terrace, the furniture and fabrics exude earthy colours
Toile Blanche’s spacious, art-filled interiors are all about natural colors, in soft or earthy tones, such as white, grey, green, shades of beige, natural darks, which have the power to induce a sense of relaxation and calmness. Chromatic harmony between the various elements is very important, as well as the visual continuity between walls, furniture and floors. Toile Blanche’s interior design blends masculine and feminine elements to create a comfortable space for everyone. Wood is used to balance softer carpets and drapes. The overall feeling of the room is comfortable without being boring.

Furniture is characterized by simple and clear lines, avoiding complicated detail and excess ornamentation. The furniture should be high quality and made of natural materials as these bring a sense of warmth and relaxation. Innovation and surprise should be brought through the art: paintings, drawings, photography, installations or sculptures.

RAYMOND
The restaurant Raymond is named after the family’s artist grandfather, Raymond Leroy, a true people person. Fresh, pure and simple are the keywords that define the food. It’s nothing overly sophisticated but it is a diverse cuisine you can enjoy every day. Located on the estate’s upper level, with a terrace offering unique views on the village, pool, garden and hills, Raymond also welcomes guests from outside the hotel
LE
COMPTOIR
D‘YVONNE
The breakfast and tapas bar is named after Yvonne. Friends and family used to call her ‘marraine’. She was an amazing woman who reached 101 years by simply enjoying traditional food with a glass of good wine. Le Comptoir d’Yvonne is a cosy space that serves small bites throughout the day and evening. In the morning, it functions as Toile Blanche’s breakfast outlet.
POOL BAR
On the lower terrace, in front of the old house, is where guests enjoy poolside drinks during the day, or start and end their evening in a relaxed setting. Throughout the late afternoon, ambient music provides the sound track for a social hub where guests can become acquainted.
BOOKS & WINES
Located in the old house is a warmly decorated salon that houses the library. In the winter, guests can enjoy a drink next to its inviting open fire.
SPEAKEASY
This secret bar, which is for hotel guests only, is hidden on the estate and opens irregularly in the late evening.
Suite owners receive a membership and are permitted to bring guests.
WELLNESS
The centre for relaxation and invigoration is designed to accommodate one couple at
a time. It includes a hammam, plunge pool and sauna. Massages can be booked for well-ness, or in the comfort of your suite.
The Leroy Brothers art studio, centrally located, is the creative heart of Toile Blanche. It maintains a summer program that invites artists to spend time at the hotel and mingle with guests during their stay. The synergy between invited artists, Leroy Brothers and hotel guests helps prolong the tradi-tion of artistic encounters that have made Saint-Paul de Vence legendary.
THE VEGETABLE GARDEN
The hotel’s roofs serve as a vegetable garden. Tomatoes, eggplants and various salads are visible from the restaurant’s terrace. Guests can visit the garden and enjoy the panoramic views.
THE YOGA PLATFORM
At the end of the vegetable garden, facing the hills, you’ll find a yoga platform, ideal for practicing poses or immersing yourself in meditation.
PÉTANQUE
Who can resist a game of pétanque during a sun-drenched holiday in the South of France?
THE FIRE PIT
During magical summer evenings, the fire pit is the perfect place to get to know other guests.
ECO-FRIENDLY
Utilising the latest technologies, Toile Blanche reduces its energy and water consumption to the minimum. The green roof, especially the veg-etable garden, contributes to the hotel’s eco-friendly approach.
SECURED ENVIRONMENT
Toile Blanche is a gated domain which can be accessed by visitors through the main gate only, either by identification or by using a personal access code. Once passed the gate there is a 24/24h staff occupation at the reception.
